Terms of Engagement

Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to Finavrit. These Terms of Engagement govern the professional relationship between the client and CA Krishna Goyal. All advisory, audit, and tax services are rendered subject to these terms, unless overridden by a custom, signed Engagement Letter.

1. Scope of Work

The scope of work is defined explicitly in the engagement proposal or formal service agreement. I will rely on the accuracy and completeness of the information and documentation you provide. It is the client's responsibility to supply all financial receipts, bank statements, and relevant records in a timely manner.

2. Professional Standard

Services will be performed in accordance with the professional ethical standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The advice provided represents a professional opinion based on prevailing statutes and administrative interpretations; it does not guarantee specific outcomes in tax disputes.

3. Fees and Payments

  • Indicative Pricing: Package rates and ranges listed on this website are indicative. Actual fees depend on case complexity and transaction volume.
  • GST: Professional fees are subject to 18% GST as per Indian tax laws.
  • Retainers/Advances: For new client relationships, work begins only after receiving the agreed-upon initial advance payment.

4. Limitation of Liability

I am not liable for penalties, interest, or tax adjustments resulting from inaccurate, late, or incomplete documentation provided by the client. The liability of CA Krishna Goyal or Finavrit for any single engagement is capped at the total professional fees paid by the client for that specific engagement.

5. Governing Law

These terms and all professional engagements are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising from engagements shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
